(A) 2 Bdrm Apt in the Heart of SB. Walk everywhere Requires a 2 night stay for any stay that includes a Fri or Sat night* This Sunny 2 bedroom is directly downtown and SB can be completely discovered and explored by walking. 2 bedrooms with queen beds (one with a private hall entrance) open into a living room and open kitchen with a full bath from the xxxx''s. Upstairs. The 2Bdrm is so perfectly located, you will park your car on arrival and enjoy walking and trolley riding your whole stay. This is 2 blocks from State St, and the trolley runs up and down State as well as along the beach. My favorite referral is to tell folks to catch the trolley to the pier, take trolley 2 along the beach to East Beach Grill and have breakfast and coffee at the beach. On the sand! The trolley is .50 cents each leg and is the best way to orient yourself to SB and the SB waterfront. There is a Ralphs market,1 blk. Starbucks,1 blk. Cajun Kitchen''s decadent breakfasts less than 1 block, a donut shop, pizza parlor and Japanese tempura all within 1-2 blocks. The main bus terminal is 2 blocks and will take you everywhere; the Mission, harbor, etc. Another 2 blocks past the terminal and you are at the Courthouse, considered the most beautiful public building in America. The Metro Bus is $1.75 and you get one transfer, but get the 10 pack at the terminal for $11.75. From the bedroom window you can see the dome corner of Nordstroms I block away, which anchors Paseo Nuevo, a 2 full block Mall with dozens of stores and restaurants. See the list below. The key is being right downtown. That''s what puts you in the middle of going anywhere. 14 movie screens within 3 blocks. The fun district of pubs and clubs starts about 5-6 blocks away. Please come home quietly after 10pm. This apt is all within a 20 by 21 foot square. Four adults will maximize this apt, and any less will give a better sense of space. Someone puttering in the kitchen, a couple lounging in the living room and another reading in the bedroom is a good use of this space as a whole. Everyone in the living room at the same time will be tight to some sensibilities. If you have Bnb''d in Paris, then you have seen smaller metro accomodations and you''ll do fine here. And of all my stays over there, in sometimes 5 flight walkups, I''ve never gotten so centrally located as this 2 bedroom apt is here in Santa Barbara. Like a little European experience, It would only be more perfect if I could import the croissant smell from my favorite Paris neighborhood for you. Nonetheless this is an American version of an American in Paris, with spray tanning instead of a Boulangerie ... but you will still experience that nice small city neighborhood feel! Below you there are 2 hair salons, 2 artist studios, an artist frame shop, Barbareno''s Cal cuisine (dinner only) across the street, Honeys tans, Skin Dance cosmetics, a Gym, a dance studio, an art and drafting supply store and so on.
